Leqvio (inclisiran) is used to reduce cholesterol in the blood. It is used in adults with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia (conditions that cause elevated levels of fats, including cholesterol, in the blood).
Inclisiran, the active substance in Leqvio, interferes with RNA to limit the production of PCSK9, a protein that can increase levels of LDL-cholesterol (“bad” cholesterol). By preventing PCSK9 production, Leqvio helps to lower LDL-cholesterol levels.

Leqvio is used to treat Hypercholesterolemia.

How it's Administered
Leqvio is administered by subcutaneous injection. Leqvio injections take only a few minutes.
Frequency
Leqvio is generally administered every six months, after two initial doses three months apart.
